About Me.

My name is Mel, I am a daughter, a sister, and a friend.

I guess some people would say I was crazy, others would just say that I’m “special”

My life is in 2 countries . . . America and England! I would love to be able to merge the two together as I’m sure we wouldn’t miss the rest of Europe too much! (please don’t get offended. Just sayin’!) So Long live the Queen and God bless America !

I enjoy capturing things I see around me! I am not an expert at picture taking, but I have always got my camera with me. I wanted to share with you some of my pictures that I find captivating in different ways! I hope you enjoy what you see, if you see any particular ones you like a lot, let me know!
I would love to see comments on the pictures – tell me what you like or not like about them – get involved!

Of to capture the world!

  1. MEL!!! I don’t know why I hadn’t read this before!?!?! Your opening introduction smacked me in the face! Jesus has been re-defining these roles in my life… a few weeks ago I was asked to describe my identity in 3 words and daughter, sister and friend were what I wrote down! Upon further thought I would ask for a few more words… I am a…
    DAUGHTER of ABBA Father God
SISTER of the Christian church(which includes YOU dear sister!)
    and
FRIEND of the people in the world who I hope to one day call my sisters and brothers.

Loving you from this side of the pond,

    Erin

    • if i were asked to describe my self in three words i would fail as i am still wondering this world i live in with no sense of direction, i find it hard to identify my self as i am still traveling ,running thirsty, trying to make sense .

one thing remains solid though, my trust in god, and with that gracefully i wait.

that’s all i know and may be someday i will say this is me.

but in the world i see, i am a mother, sister and i highly respect and love all.

  3. Hi Mel! I see you haven’t blogged in a while but I ran across your lovely Spirit of Detroit photo. I am interested in using it as a basis for some artwork that I’d like to create. I was hoping to give you a little more info about it, and request permission to use your image. Thanks!
